Worshipful Brother Don WIlson, a Freemason from Belmont #190 Masonic Lodge, was honoured and recognized for fifty years of service to the Craft. Initiated, passed and raised in 1964, W. Bro. Over the course of the past year the brethren of Belmont 190 have been actively pursuing their CORNERTONE designation.   The  primary purpose of the CORNERSTONE project is to encourage and recognize lodges that plan, implement and manage a well rounded yearly lodge program that promotes lodge activities, brotherhood, charitable work and involvement in the community.

During our regular meeting Thursday October 22, 2015 Belmont 190 was awarded their CONERSTONE status by R.W. Bro. Chad Moore, DDGM London East District.  The brethren at Belmont are very pleased with this designation and  look forward to the continuous brotherhood and building that CORNERSTONE has brought to their lodge.

Now that Belmont has their CORNERSTONE designation they are well on their way to maintaining it and look forward to be awarding it again in 2017.  2017 will also bring the 150th anniversary of Belmont 190.
